When I first landed my first design job, I mailed one of the star designers and asked "Hey, what would you suggest to a design newbie?" He said, "Experiment, do different stuff. Like you never did graphic design, start doing it. You don't know how to do animations - start playing with After Effects. Don't know how to do prototypes - start with Principle for Mac." (Shoutout to Principle people wherever you are now).
So I did as much as possible; UIs for different domains and devices, packaging designs, 2D & 3D animations, photorealistic CGI, type design, video editing, any type of graphic design and many other stuff I can't even remember. While doing it, it became my lifestyle. Constantly going for new stuff, see what sticks and what not.
Currently working on some advanced calisthenics skills and a new type design while listening some good hardstyle music.
